garethgraves asked: If you haven't read Y:The Last Man, you're missing out. I can say that The Long Halloween is great, and Batman; Haunted Knight is great. Death: The high Cost of Living is a favorite, as is any of the Invincible trades. Hope any of that helps :)

1) Y: The Last Man was probably the first series of trades I ever read from beginning to end. It’s what really got me into loving comics. Before that, I can admit I just LIKED them.

2) I’ve read all of The Sandman and every Death book as well. I haven’t read every Neil Gaiman book however, but have every intention of doing so! I loved Sandman a lot and cosplayed as Death last year at NYCC.

3) I’ll check out those 2 Batman books for sure! Invincible… maybe. Not a huge Kirkman fan!

Good Trades?

Any of you nerds have opinions on the following trades?

BATMAN:

The Long Halloween (Been hearing only good things)

Dark Victory (By the same dude, just as good?)

Rules of Engagement (I like every by Andy Diggle I’ve read, why stop now?)

Broken City and The Joker (And speaking of Brian Azzarello, hows 100 bullets?)

Year 100

Death By Design

Gates of Gotham

SUPERMAN:

Red Son

Earth One

MISC:

The Unwritten

Channel Zero

ANY OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE LEAVE IN MY ASK BOX!!!

Geek Moment: It’s not Iron Patriot, Iron Patriot would imply that it is Norman Osborn. Norman Osborn is owned by SONY with the rest of the Spider-Man film rights. Therefore the only explanation is that it’s Detroit Steel, we’ve already got the Hammer Industries plot set up from the second film, why wouldn’t they use it again and especially after what happened in The Avengers, the US government will want to capitalize on Captain America’s image, therefore Detroit Steel is the perfect way to do it.
